Doyle Herman Design Associates

Adam Groshek is an intern at Doyle Herman Design Associates. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture at Penn State University. His previous summers working alongside landscape contractors and gardeners provided him the experience with installing and maintaining residential landscapes. He has worked with landscape designers both in the field and in nurseries choosing appropriate trees and shrubs for a select site.

Growing up in rural Pennsylvania, he learned to appreciate traditional working landscapes. A balance of agricultural and forested lands inspire him to find a similar balance in designed landscapes. A Forest Ecosystems Minor provided him the knowledge of regional trees and shrubs along with urban forest management. As a summer intern with DHDA, he will be continuing to learn and work with residential landscapes of various scales and settings.
