James Doyle is a principal at Doyle Herman Design Associates and founded the firm in 1993. He has developed an award winning design business with projects in the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Prior to 1993, Mr. Doyle was head of a Russell Page garden in Ireland and has combined his horticultural experience and strong design philosophy to bring to life unique and innovative landscapes.
Projects have ranged from small courtyards to large country estates and the firm was named the 2010 APLD International Designer of the year. Traveling and visiting gardens worldwide has greatly influenced his work and allowed him to develop both contemporary and traditional designs. He has guided the firm to a growing collection of awards and has lectured to private groups and conferences both nationally and internationally. He currently serves on the Architectural Review Committee of the town of Greenwich.
